Compagnie Maritime Nantaise - MN owns, operates and manages vessels.

Concentrating on industrial and specialist transport, MN’s activity includes the design, construction, acquisition and national and international operation of vessels in order to meet its clients’ requirements.

MN further extends its range of activities by proposing its services and experience to third parties, either directly or through specialist subsidiaries.

MN is backed by the technical and financial strength of the Compagnie Nationale de Navigation (CNN) group, of which it is a wholly-owned subsidiary. With over a 1000 employees and a turnover of 248 M€, the CNN group specializes in transport and logistics.

“Armateurs de France” is the professional organization of the French shipping and marine services industry. In addition to defending and promoting the interests of French shipowners, it provides information and advice to its members on a daily basis.

Uncompromising as far as the quality of its services are concerned, MN takes an equally demanding approach in matters of safety. It was awarded ISM Code certification in 1998. ISM certification is awarded to companies that meet the requirements of international regulations in respect of safety and environmental protection, applicable throughout the world’s shipping fleets.

The Compagnie Nationale de Navigation’s maritime activity is carried out, amongst others, by MN and its subsidiary MN Services Industrie (MNSI). The Compagnie Nationale de Navigation and its subsidiaries manage helicopter operations to provide logistic support and assistance to oil rigs.
