MN is an integrated shipping company. Using its own personnel, it manages both the crews and the technical and commercial aspects of the ships that it operates. It has sufficient officers and seamen to man the ships of its fleet, in accordance with both French and international regulations. MN is organized into 4 departments:

ACQUISITION OF TMC
Compagnie Maritime Nantaise – MN owns TMC company, owner of 2 coaster vessels, the recent Taillefer 3 and the Guédel which will be replaced at the end of 2009 by the Guédel 3. These ships transport various goods from the Continent to the Morbihan Islands and to Yeu Island.
This company owns also 2 other cargo vessels, Casamance and Omega, operated by its Senegalese subsidiary on a coastal trade from Dakar.
This acquisition represents for MN a diversification and an additional activity to its seagoing transportation.

The Compagnie Maritime Nantaise - MN owns, mans and manages ships. The Compagnie Maritime Nantaise – MN is specialized in industrial and specialist shipping and maritime logistics. The Compagnie Maritime Nantaise – MN is a subsidiary of the Compagnie Nationale de Navigation group (CNN). The Compagnie Nationale de Navigation and its subsidiary, the Compagnie Maritime Nantaise – MN, design and build ships. The Compagnie Maritime Nantaise – MN is a member of the Armateurs de France professional organization, for which safety is a priority. The Compagnie Maritime Nantaise – MN has ISM (International Safety Management) certification. The Compagnie Maritime Nantaise – MN mans ships and manages crews, as well managing both the technical and commercial aspects of its fleet. The Compagnie Maritime Nantaise – MN complies with French navigational regulations. The Compagnie Nationale de Navigation’s maritime activity is carried out, amongst others, by MN and its subsidiary MN Services Industrie (MNSI). The Compagnie Nationale de Navigation and its subsidiaries manage helicopter operations to provide logistic support and assistance to oil rigs. The Compagnie Maritime Nantaise – MN’s organization is divided into 4 directorates: the Commercial Directorate, the Manning Directorate, the Technical Directorate, and the Administrative and Financial Directorate. The Commercial Directorate is responsible for contract management, meeting commercial requirements and specifications, negotiating shipping contracts and charter-parties, managing ship charters, voyage planning, reporting to charterers, commercial operations and loading and unloading, the fuelling of ships etc.
